Accurate Fourier Analysis for Circuit Simulators
نویسنده
چکیده
A new approach to Fourier analysis within the context of circuit simulation is presented that is considerably more accurate and flexible than the traditional SPICE approach. It is based on the direct computation of the Fourier integral rather than on the discrete Fourier transform and so it is not subject to aliasing. It can be used to accurately compute a small number of Fourier coefficients for broad-spectrum signals such as those generated by mixers, ΣΔ and pulse-width modulators, DACs, and SC-filters. In addition, techniques that reduce errors and provide the ability to resolve harmonics 120 dB – 140 dB below the carrier are presented.

Efficient Parameters Selection for CNTFET Modelling Using Artificial Neural Networks
In this article different types of artificial neural networks (ANN) were used for CNTFET (carbon nanotube transistors) simulation. CNTFET is one of the most likely alternatives to silicon transistors due to its excellent electronic properties. In determining the accurate output drain current of CNTFET, time lapsed and accuracy of different simulation methods were compared. The training data for...

In this paper, a new method for evaluating CMOS image sensors based on computer modeling and analysis is introduced. Image sensors are composed of different parts, each of which has a specific effect on image quality. Circuits of image sensors can be evaluated and analyzed using circuit simulators or theoretically, but these methods cannot help to produce the final image. In order to produce th...

متن کاملA Comprehensive Mathematical Model for Analysis of WR-Resolvers under Stator Short Circuit Fault
Wound-Rotor (WR) resolvers are the most widely used position sensors in applications with harsh environmental conditions. However, their performance is exposed to failure due to the high risk of short circuit (SC) fault. Although the output current of the resolver is negligible, its thin copper wires increase the probability of the short circuit fault. To avoid the propagation of the turn-to-tu...
